Yes folks, it's Bug-a-thon time again!
So, after the success of the last bug-a-thon, we've decided to have another one this weekend! In fact, we've decided to have more bug-a-thons, but we're still not 100% sure if we're going to have them on a regular basis.
We'd like to have each bug-a-thon a bit before each new release of BibleTime, but we'll need to see how things pan out. In addition to this, the bug-a-thons need to be at a date and time that most folks can gather together. This often means that we start at about 16:00 UTC and work for about 6 hours. The last bug-a-thon we worked both Friday and Saturday, but for this one we're only working on Saturday.
As we did last time, we'll be hanging out in #bibletime on Freenode.net, and we'll be connecting live via Mumble, an open source VoIP system (details on the wiki page).
Our main aim, as usual, is fixing up bugs. If you're feeling adventurous, the most significant bugs that we need to get rid of is a set of segfaults (you can find out more here, here, and here), which you are encouraged to read up on and bring lots of bright ideas for. We're also hoping to trim stale content from the wiki, and proofread the documentation, amongst other things.
Please remember that you don't need to be a developer to join the bug-a-thon!
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
